Description
The degree program “Bachelor of Music in JRP: Trombone” is provided by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden with a duration of eight semesters. The program imparts both professional knowledge and technical skills with a practice-oriented strategy. The main subject lessons of the course include intonation, style, improvisation, harmony, solo structure, phrasing, sound, articulation, technique and provides training in transcribing skills as well as composing. During their study, participants learn to master the standard repertoire from the JRP area routinely and with playful ease and become acquainted with a broad spectrum of musical and scientific practice. The course also explores the forms and possibilities of musical presentations in a variety of epochs, styles, and forms of performance such as new music, opera, chamber music, orchestral performances and more.
