Offered by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Dresden with a duration of four semesters the study course “Master of Music in JRP: Trombone” is imparting both professional knowledge and technical skills. The program deepens the aspects of sound, time, phrasing, articulation, melody, harmony, intonation, style, improvisation, melody, harmony, motif, solo structure and technique while providing training in arranging, composing and transcribing skills. Interpretation, composition, improvisation as interconnected processes are perceived as both musical as well as organizational problems while also offering performance, various ensembles and musical projects, work in the recording studio and insights into the areas of booking, promotion and copyrights.
