The program “Bachelor of Music in Oboe (Artistic)” is offered by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden with duration of eight semesters. The bachelor degree imparts elective modules for setting individual priorities while providing comprehension in music theory, musicology, methodology as well as ear training. Throughout the course, the participants acquire strong instrumental techniques and a stylistically diverse repertoire to present with confidence. Participants gain the ability to efficiently practice and present themselves in various podium situations while expanding their e musical-technical competencies, gain systematic insights into the conditions as well as possibilities of chamber music and deal with the possibilities of joint musical interaction, questions of phrasing and musical interaction.
