Provided by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden the study course “Master of Music in Piano” is with a duration of four semesters. Participants expand their artistic-technical level and deepen the musical expressiveness and are able to develop, realize and express their own artistic ideas. Throughout their study, they expand and deepen the already existing skills in chamber music while also interpreted challenging chamber music works in order to be able to take a leading role in rehearsal work with the goal of developing a common musical concept. The intensification and stimulation of the entire musical educational work is promoted by improvisation at a high level and participants also expand their existing skills in traditional, avant-garde and freely combined polystylistic improvisation. In addition to soloistic fantasizing, participation in mixed group improvisation students acquire pedagogical, methodological and psychological knowledge.
