The four-semester degree program “Master in Vocals Stage Practice Solo” is offered by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden. Student will be able to deal with interdisciplinary questions concerning the phenomenon of music and to use the knowledge gained for the intended professional practice concerning particular the areas of physiological and psychological basics of music making, music law and self-management. During their study, participants are able to minimize potential stresses of music practice, avoid detours while practicing and establish the foundations for efficient practice and healthy music making. Students learn to master the optimizing posture, economy of movement, breathing and master the ability to relax. In addition, they receive a first insight into self-organization as well as strategies that enable and facilitate the entry into professional life.
