The program “Bachelor of Music in Trumpet (Artistic)” is provided by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden with a duration of eight semesters total. With focus on the content of technical aural training, as well as the areas of recording, mixing and sound design students train their sound-technically oriented listening of sound parameters. They are taught the acoustic significance and will be able to professionally use the current audio programs in order to understand the function of sound processors and to use it creatively. The bachelor degree course provides with a comprehensive overview of the Jazz history while also exploring the most important individuals for the music development. During their study, students also explore the various playing styles with a special emphasis on the functional classification of the understanding of the different tasks of music.
