The study course “Bachelor of Music in Trumpet (Music Pedagogy)” is with a duration of eight semesters and provided by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden. On the basis of their ability to work in a team the participants are able to integrate themselves into the ensemble with increasing musical sovereignty and personality. The participants acquire stylistically dependent, articulation and phrasing skills in the jazz orchestra and acquire relevant scientific literature from the field of music education and obtain a first insight into possibilities of music education the students also deal practically with the scope and design possibilities of concert pedagogy and learn to develop their own concepts for projects.
