Offered by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden the program “Master of Music in Trumpet” is with a duration of four semesters. The master degree provides one-to-one tuition with artistic and instrumental specialization, solo or ensemble specialization. The focus on ensemble is including orchestra and chamber music while the focus on solo is in case graduates have particular artistic aptitude. Graduates obtain artistic ideas to a high professional level in order to perform in different performance situations, even under strong psychological pressure and become able to compose programs coherently, to express themselves in an understandable and convincing manner.
