Provided by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden the degree program “Bachelor of Music in Tuba (Artistic)” is with a duration of eight semesters. The focus of the course is oriented towards the development of an artistic personality with comprehensive technical and musical training while studying basics of music law. During their study, participants will be able to independently classify musical material of different styles, to develop an artistic concept and acquire body awareness, breath control, finger technique, sound, intonation and rhythm skills in order to independently develop their own effective practice and rehearsal techniques. The program provides the necessary skills to develop, realize and express artistic ideas at a high professional level.
