Offered by the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music Dresden the study course “Master of Music in Violin” is with a duration of four semesters total. Participants learn how to independently develop mature interpretive concepts, to implement them in a conducting along with professional practice students work on a healthy handling of the singing voice. Participants obtain strong vocal technical confidence and gain an extensive repertoire, stylistic confidence as well as artistic competence. The program also deals with the challenging symphonic literature, difficult accompanying tasks as well as the large opera repertoire with main focus of the questions of interpretation while forming comprehensive technical and musical training as well as creativity and independence.
