The “Master of Arts in Applied Social and Educational Sciences” is a 3- or 6-semester program conducted in German. It is designed for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their qualifications. The program is also offered part-time, suitable for candidates who wish to combine working and studying. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Philosophy of Science and Methodology, Methods of Empirical Social Research, Anthropological Perspectives on Education, Planning and Control in the Social and Educational System, Governance and Political Education, Educational Management, and more. Additionally, students can personalise their education by taking up elective modules. The MA is application-oriented and aims to provide participants with practical relevance, key competencies, and soft skills. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume positions in social and educational organizations, institutions for further and advanced training in public and independent organizations, youth welfare offices, etc.
