The “Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Care” is a 7-semester program conducted in German. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses with a focus on Educational Sciences, Pedagogy, Didactics and Methodology, Law, Organization and Management, and more. Additional, participants can take up elective modules and diversify their studies. Through various group projects and application-oriented seminars, they’ll gain hands-on experience and professional core competencies. Furthermore, the BA encourages the development of soft skills such as communication and organisation, teamwork, leadership, moderation, etc. The program prepares graduates for the dynamic environment of the field and qualifies them to assume positions in the upbringing and advancement of children, management of day-care centres and institution networks, planning, implementation and evaluation of educational offers, and more. Graduates can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
