The “Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Care” is a part-time, German-taught program with a duration of 4 or 6 semesters, respectively. It is suitable for applicants who wish to work and study simultaneously. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses with a focus on Educational Sciences, Pedagogy, Didactics and Methodology, Law, Organization and Management, and more. Students can also take up elective modules and align their education to their interests. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, participants will gain practical relevance and key competencies. Furthermore, the BA promotes the development of soft skills needed for day-to-day operations. Occupational activities include upbringing and advancement of children, management of day-care centres and institution networks, planning, implementation and evaluation of educational offers, and more.
