The “Bachelor of Science in Midwifery” is a German-taught program with a duration of 7 (or 5) semesters. Throughout their education, students will acquire a fundamental understanding of  Professional Thinking and Acting, Midwifery, Medical and Scientific Basics, Physiology in the course of Pregnancy, Birth and Postpartum Period, Women's Health, Professional History and Ethics, and more. Also, participants can diversify their studies by taking up elective modules. Through various group projects and application-oriented seminars, they’ll gain practical relevance, key competencies, and soft skills needed for day-to-day operations. The BSc prepares participants for work in clinics, birthing centres, hospitals, etc. Graduates can also opt for a later Master’s degree.
