Description
The “Master of Arts in Social Work as a Science and Profession” is a 3- or 6-semester long program taught in German. It is designed for applicants with a corresponding Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their qualifications. The program is also available as a part-time study, suitable for candidates who wish to work and study simultaneously. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses in Social Work Science, Empirical Social Research, Ethics, Planning and Control in the Social And Educational System, Governance and Political Education, etc. Students can also choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, participants will gain hands-on experience and industry-specific skills. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume positions in social work agencies, adult education, independent organisations, etc.
