Description


The “Bachelor of Arts in Social Work” is a German-taught program with a duration of 7 semesters. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Sociology, Pedagogy, Psychology, Ethics and Law, Health Sciences and Medicine, Social and Local Politics, Social Management, etc. Additionally, students can personalise their education by taking up elective modules. The BA is application-oriented and aims to teach participants how to implement their knowledge into practice. Through various case studies and internships, students will gain hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills needed for day-to-day operations. Upon completion of the program, participants are qualified to pursue a career in Child and Youth Services, Social Services, Education, Social Gerontology, Addiction Counseling, Social Psychiatric Services, Health Promotion, and more. Additionally, graduates can opt for a later Master’s degree.
