Description
The “Bachelor of Arts in Social Work” is a part-time, German-taught program with a duration of 11 semesters. It is suitable for applicants who wish to balance out their careers, education, and private lives. Throughout their studies, participants will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. They’ll focus on Sociology, Pedagogy, Psychology, Ethics and Law, Health Sciences and Medicine, Social and Local Politics, Social Management, and more. Additionally, students can choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. The BA is application-oriented and aims to provide participants with practical relevance, key competencies, and soft skills needed for a successful career. Graduates are qualified to assume positions in Child and Youth Services, Social Services, Education, Social Gerontology, Addiction Counseling, Social Psychiatric Services, Health Promotion, etc. The BA is also an excellent foundation for a later Master’s degree.
