The further training course “End-of-Life Care for People with Cognitive Impairment” offered by Catholic University of Applied Sciences Freiburg provides participants with knowledge on how to assist people with disabilities until the ned of their lives, how to talk about death, etc. The training`s goal is to train participants with skills in death and sorrow therapy. Upon completion of the course, participants will have a basic understanding of German hospice-palliative care structures. They will be able to arrange discussion for people with disabilities on issues such as death and mourning. Moreover, they will be qualified to accompany people in institutions and services until the ned of their lives. The training`s target group are employees at facilities and services for disabled people, curative nurses, health and nursing staff, etc. A certificate of attendance for further training is issued at the end.
