The certificate program “European Social Work” offered by Catholic University of Applied Sciences Freiburg is a joint program in collaboration with the Libera Università "Maria SS. Assunta" (LUMSA) Rome, the Hanzehogeschool Groningen and the Escola Universitaría de Treball Social (EUTS) at the Ramon Llull University of Barcelona. Only students enrolled at the university and studying social work and curative education can be admitted to the additional program. Students will gain knowledge of political, economic, social, and legal situations, social issues, social work methods and solutions in chosen European Union nations and contexts. Furthermore, participants will develop the ability to compare and contrast various national and supranational realities. Moreover, they will also become competent enough to operate in disciplines that aren’t limited to the confines of a single country state. Upon completion of the program, students receive a certificate.
