The study program “Master of Science in Nursing Science” offered by Catholic University of Applied Sciences Freiburg in cooperation with the University of Freiburg is suitable for people with prior education in the area of health and nursing, care for the elderly, etc. Students will gain essential capabilities in an extended nursing practice during their studies. Furthermore, they will improve their research abilities and key skills in the care interaction with patients and their families, as well as gain understanding and training in the area of care in an organizational and social environment. Students have the opportunity to choose between acute care and community care as their elective option. The program is created in collaboration with the University of Freiburg and the University Hospital. Graduate will be ready to take on professional leadership responsibilities in nursing and the use what they have learned in intra- and interprofessional cooperation.
