Charité – University Medicine unites the faculties of Medicine of both the Free University of Berlin and Humboldt University under one roof. It spreads across four campus in Berlin (Benjamin Franklin campus, Berlin-Buchcampus campus, Charité Mitte campus, Virchow Clinical Complex campus) where some 7,000 students first and foremost receive an academic education in Medicine. The educational portfolio offered by Charité, besides study programs in Human Medicine and Dental Medicine, comprises the polyvalent Bachelor program “Health Sciences“, conveying skills required for professional activities in the health sector, as well as eleven Master programs, preparing students for managerial tasks in the health sector. The Bachelor program can be completed on a full-time basis (three years) or part-time basis (max. six years), and leads to the degree of Bachelor of Science. The scope of Master studies includes the study programs “Cerebrovascular Medicine“ (M.Sc.), “Toxicology“ (M.Sc.), “International Health“ (M.Sc.), “Medical Neurosciences“ (M.Sc.), “Molecular Medicine“ (M.Sc.), “Health Professions Education“ (M.Sc.), as well as the programs “Public Health“ (M.Sc., consecutive and continuative), “Epidemiology“ (M.Sc.), as well as “Applied Epidemiology“ (M.Sc.) which are offered in cooperation with the Berlin School of Public Health. Moreover, exceptional graduates are provided with the opportunity of taking part in structured doctoral programs in Health Data Sciences, Integrative Oncology, and Medical Neurosciences.
