Chur University of Theology, founded in 1968, is a private university seated in Chur, Switzerland. It is sponsored by the Diocese of Chur. Round about 55 students currently receive an academic education in Catholic Theology. The scope of studies includes the six-semester Bachelor degree program as well as the four-semester Master program “Theology“ (B.Th./M.Th.), which prepares students for church services as a priest or pastoral assistant. Added to this are Licentitate studies, the completion of which is the prerequisite for doctoral studies.
