Coburg University of Applied Sciences, founded in 1971, is a public university seated in Coburg, Bavaria. Nearly 5,200 students are enrolled there. Prospective students are offered 24 Bachelor and 17 Master degree programs in six departments: the Department of Applied Sciences, the Department of Business and Economics, the Department of Design, the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Automotive Technology, and the Department of Social Work and Health. Among the University’s course offerings are the extra-occupational study courses “Business Administration“ (Bachelor, Master), “Insurance Studies“ (Bachelor, Master), “Clinical and Social Work“ (Master), as well as the interdiciplinary Master course “Future Design“. Almost all Bachelor courses are also offered as dual study courses with in-depth practical experience.
