Theater Education studies focus on providing students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of drama. Students have the opportunity to combine the classroom with fieldwork and gain professional experience while they study. Subjects taught in Theater Education programs usually include Drama in Education, The Role of Story in Drama and Theater Education, Musical Theater History, Children's Theater, Dramatic Literature, Theater Design and Technology, Acting and Performance, and others. Theater Education studies the role of drama in modern society and its course through history. Students develop skills that are valued highly in the theater industry, like creative thinking, pedagogical strategy, and the ability to address students’ needs and constantly strive towards improving the learning process, trying different approaches and generating new and innovative ideas. Upon completion, graduates are provided with various career prospects. They can choose to teach drama in schools or higher education institutions, work in administration, manage theaters, direct plays, assist in television and film, work in the management and coordination of performing arts, help the community and work in charity, or choose one of the many other directions.
