Description
“Bachelor of Arts in Social Work in Elementary Education” is a six-semester, dual degree program offered by the Cooperative State University Baden-Württemberg. This practice-oriented course provides in-depth knowledge of both social work and childhood education. By attending lectures such as Psychology, Sociology, Pedagogy, and Organizational Development, and taking part in practical trainings, students will understand more about the educational processes in social work, and how to deal with children of all age. At the end of their studies, participants will develop their team work and leadership skills, and will gain solid professional knowledge, which they can apply in practice. This program qualifies graduates for work in daycare centers, or for the management of a daycare center.
