The degree program “Bachelor of Engineering in Wood and Plastics Technology” with a duration of six semesters is provided at the Cooperative State University Baden-Württemberg. Participants can choose between Furniture and Interior Construction, or Construction Elements and Timber Construction to focus on. The course is practice-oriented, designed to teach students the basics of both engineering and business management. They will attend lectures and seminars like Mathematics, Technical Physics, Technical Chemistry, and Basics of Business Administration, while also strengthening their communication and soft skills. In addition, students can take part in an internship program, where they will work on different technical projects. Successful completion of the course, will qualify graduates for career in production and plant management, application technology and consulting sector.
