With more than 16,000 students, Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, founded in 1971, is the largest public university in Hesse. It provides 60 application-oriented Bachelor and Master degree programs in the following twelve faculties: the Faculty of Architecture, the Faculty of Business, the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, the Faculty of Computer Science, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, the Faculty of Design, the Faculty of Social Work, the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Mechanical and Plastics Engineering, and the Faculty of Media. The range of practice-integrated dual studies comprises the study programs “Chemistry“, “Data Science“, “International Business Administration“, “Business Administration“, “Computer Science“, “General Mechanical Engineering“, “Automotive Development“, “Plastics Engineering“, “Mechanical Engineering“, “Mechatronics“, “Electrical Engineering and Information Technology“, “Building Systems Technology: Energy-Efficient Building Technology“, as well as “Engineering and Management“. In parallel to one‘s studies, students at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences have the possibility to obtain technical and interdisciplinary additional qualifications in the fields of Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Social Work. Graduates of Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences receive a B.A., B.Sc., B. Eng., LL.B., M.A., M.Sc., M.Eng., LL.M., or MBA degree.
