Design programs deal with explaining the process behind creating and manifesting ideas. Students in Design are provided with creative tools and learn different techniques that engage them in all aspects of the creative process. Digital media plays an important role in society today, so students can also learn how computer technologies are used in media, product, interior and fashion design. The aim of Design programs is to provide the basic knowledge of all fractions of design – product, fashion, digital, interior, urban and architectural, so students can gain perspective and choose a field to further their studies in. During the program, students gain a variety of skills – analytical and research, creative, problem-solving and critical thinking. Subjects covered by Design programs include Creative Design, Digital Media Design, Business Planning, Project Research, Ethics in Design, Design Management, Design Content and Identity. Graduates can either further their studies in a more specific Design area, or pursue a career in design agencies, freelancing, digital design, web and app design, digital marketing and management, multimedia production, and many others.
