The DHfPG – University of Applied Sciences, founded in 2002, is a state-recognized private university seated in Saarbrücken. It runs study centers in Düsseldorf, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Cologne, Munich, Leipzig, Osnabrück, Stuttgart, Saarbrücken, Zurich, and Vienna. Round about 6,500 are provided with cooperative Bachelor and Master degree programs. At Bachelor’s level, DHfPG offers the following five study courses: “Fitness Economics“ (B.A.), “Sports Economics“ (B.A.), “Health Management“ (B.A.), “Fitness Training“ (B.A.), and “Nutrition Counseling“ (B.A.). The scope of Master studies incudes the study courses “Sports/Health Management“ (MBA), “Prevention and Health Management“ (M.A.), and “Sports Economics“ (M.A.).
