The “Master of Arts in Psychosocial Counselling in Social Work” is a German-taught program with a duration of 5 semesters. It is designed for applicants with a corresponding Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their qualifications. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses with a focus on Science of Social Work, Conditions and Models of Counselling, Systemic Work in Psychosocial Counselling, Design of Systemic Processes, etc. Additionally, students can align their education to their interests by taking up elective modules. The MA is application-oriented and aims to provide participants with hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume positions in day-care and family centres, elderly care institutions, health care facilities, schools, and more.
