Description

Chiropractic is a philosophy, science and art of natural things. Dresden International University offers the part-time organised* study programme "Chiropractic" as a Bachelor as well as a Master. The study programme imparts extensive basic medical knowledge as well as basic and specialist knowledge of chiropractic and enables students to apply chiropractic safely and effectively and thus stand out from the many therapists with little training available today.

Students of the part-time Master's programme "Chiropractic" have comprehensive knowledge in the connection between theory and practice after completing the programme. They know the state of the art in science and can safely apply chiropractic techniques. In addition, skills and abilities in the areas of practice and quality management are learned, the understanding of the causality between chiropractic treatment and other medical disciplines and the handling of different patient groups are trained and aspects of public health are taught.

The basics taught in the Bachelor's programme can be related to the current state of research in the Master's programme, to other medical disciplines and the existing knowledge can be meaningfully expanded for the practice and application of chiropractic work.

For the practice of the profession, further legal regulations may have to be observed. The degree alone does not constitute a licence to practise.

*including weekend days
