Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development, which exists in its current form since 1992, is a public university seated in Eberswalde, Brandenburg. Approximately 2,100 students are enrolled there in 17 Bachelor and Master degree programs. The University is organzed into four faculties: the Faculty of Forest and Environment, the Faculty of Landscape Management and Nature Conversation, the Faculty of Wood Engineering, and the Faculty of Sustainble Business. The Faculty of Forest and Environment includes the Bachelor degree courses “Forestry“ (B.Sc.), and “International Forest Ecosystem Management“ (B.Sc.), as well as the Master degree courses “Forest Information Technology“ (M.Sc.), and “Global Change Management“ (M.Sc.). The Faculty of Landscape Management and Nature Conversation provides the Bachelor degree courses “Landscape Management and Nature Conversation“ (B.Sc.), “Organic Farming and Marketing“ (B.Sc.), as well as the Master programs “Regional Development and Nature Conversation“ (M.Sc.), “Management in Organic Agriculture“ (M.Sc.), and “Strategic Sustainability Management“ (M.A., extra-occupational course). Included in the Faculty of Wood Engineering are the Bachelor course “Wood Science and Technology“ (B.Eng., also offered as a dual course) as well as the consecutive Master course “Wood Science and Technology“ (M.Eng.). The Faculty of Sustainble Business includes the Bachelor courses “Business Management“ (B.A.), “Finance Management“ (B.A.), and “Regional Management“ (B.A.), as well as the Master courses “Sustainble Business Management“ (M.A.), “Sustainable Tourism Management“ (M.A.), and “Municipal Economy“ (M.A., extra-occupational course). Added to the conventional course offerings are continuing education certificate courses.
