Esslingen University of Applied Sciences, founded in 1868 under a different name, is a public university seated in Esslingen am Neckar, Baden Wuerttemberg. Almost 6,000 students are currently enrolled there in 26 Bachelor programs and 12 Master programs in the fields of Engineering, Management, and Nursing Science. The University accomodates eleven faculties: the Faculty of Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Managment, the Faculty of Automotive Engineering, the Faculty of Building Services, Energy, Environment, the Graduate School, the Faculty of Basic Sciences, the Faculty of Information Technology, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering, the Faculty of Social Work, the Faculty of Health and Nursing, and the Faculty of Engineering and Management. The scope of continuative studies includes the extra-occupational Master programs “Business Information Technology“ (in partnership with Aalen University), “IT Security Management“ (in partnership with Aalen University), “Bioprocess Engineering“ (Esslingen University of Applied Sciences), and “Human Systems Management“ (Heilbronn University). Offered as dual programs are the Bachelor programs “MechatronicsPlus“, “MechatronicsCom“, and “Chemical Engineering/Paint and Varnish“. The following degrees can be obtained: B.A., B.Eng., B.Sc., M.A., M.Eng., and M.Sc.
