A certified and state-approved course in “Business Intelligence and Analytics” awaits those who already perform in a company, or plan to start a business of their own, at the Euro-FH University of Applied Sciences. The proliferation of various media sources, most evidently social digital networks, puts new requirements and pressures on those who analyse them in order to design corporate policies and plans. Handling Big data is one of the biggest challenges for proper decisions in the competitive business world. Throughout a five-month study period, attendees will accumulate eight academic credits, by completing online tasks and submissions, or by sitting exams in-person. The course covers methods for structuring business activities on the basis of numerical predictions. This is done through a lot of exercises in a state-of-the-art RStudio environment. With proper and due training, measuring, monitoring, reporting and controlling data flow could be turned into a systematic and coherent routine, which contributes to the corporate benefit.
