Euro-FH University of Applied Sciences is the provider of a number of further education certificate courses in Law, one of them being the five-month long, eight-ECTS “Employment Law”. It supplies necessary expertise in business law, needed at different corporate levels. Both employees in legal departments, and those performing executive roles can enroll, there is no particular prerequisite for admission. The quality of the course is guaranteed by the ZFU - State Central Office for Distance Learning in Cologne. If a face-to-face exam is taken after the six submissions of academic tasks scheduled in the curriculum, the credits could serve further studies in an undergradute university degree. Focus of the content is familiarizing with employment and collective labour agreements, rights and obligations under employment relationships, constitution law, as well as workers’ participation in corporate decision-making. Termintion of employment agreements, as well as updated regulations in works law and protection against dismissal, will be duly regarded.
