The ZFU-approved certificate course of the Euro-FH University of Applied Sciences in “English Commercial Business Administration”, as its name suggests, is focused on practical English language knowledge, helpful when doing business with, or within, the UK and USA. Inevitably, the course requires advanced level of Business English. Although primarily language focused, it deals seriously with the characteristics of the economic structures and cultural specifics of these English-speaking countries, to the advantage of any future or present business international interactions. The existing commercial knowledge will also be helpful in doing this course. It continues for four months and gives ten credits. Each topic of the curriculum can be covered separately, as individual unit, in case of specific interest, or following the suggested sequence. The lectures cover the following necessary for international commerce themes: types of organizations, trade, advertising, transport, packaging, shipping, INCOTERMS, taxes and duties, means of payment, customs, insurance, trade agreements and balance.
