Whether or not already possessing some experience in the field, the course in “IT Project Management” offered at Euro-FH University of Applied Sciences is a prerequisite for performing well in the rapidly changing and constantly updated IT projects. Successful course graduates obtain the title of a Certified IT Project Manager (Euro-FH), by having completed the ten-month, fourteen-credit course, submitted the eight academic assignments and done the exam, preferably in a face-to-face mode. Very common setting for IT project management is the international and virtual one, and the course will focus on the practical side of it – identifying the tasks and reposnsibilities of the manager, familiarizing with operational methods and instruments, and finding ways to creatively and flexibly promote and manage IT projects. The main technical areas of the course will be combined with the soft skills, so moderation, negotiation and control, as well as change management, will also be discussed as processes.
