As company mergers and acquisitions are growing rapidly, the Euro-FH University of Applied Sciences has thought it applicable to devise a certificate course on the subject. No admission requirements hold for this program, yet, it is advisable to be familiar with some notions of civil law in advance. The program revolves around three basic areas of knowledge – Company Acquisition, Company Valuation and Conversion Tax Law. The processes of merging or buying companies require familiarity with the legal regulation and the consecutive taxes due by the company. The worth of such a deal is the crucial point in the decision for buying, so, proven in practice methods and cases will be viewed, in order to gain the necessary know-how for estimating the company’s worth. And, of course, all stages of a merging or acquisition procedure must be known in advance, so as to perform them smoothly and competently, and know how to orchestrate responsibilities. In six months attendees gain this knowledge plus ten academic credits.
