The Euro-FH University of Applied Sciences provides the twelve-credit certificate course “Social Media and e-Marketing Manager” for an eight-month period. The need for specialists in the e-commerce field is pressing, but there is an inadequate shortage, for the rapid and voluminous internet and social media growth in use over an extremely short period of time. Specialist and practical knowledge will be gained in online marketing, e-commerce, social media and the legal compliance of internet marketing practice. Web 2.0 will be studied for its application in the corporate practice of planning, evaluation and implementation of commercial strategies. Instruments and techniques for online design will be acquired. The course is state-approved and leads to a university certificate of its own, and is part of possible further undergraduate studies.
