The Euro-FH University of Applied Sciences offers the degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Social Work”, which can be done either entirely online or alternated with on-site seminars and exams. There are 10 exam centers available in Germany, and students can choose the one which is most convenient for them. Social workers are and will be increasingly in demand, to be of help to any age, cultural or social group, and alongside the need for them augments the necessity for quality and contemporary training, in unison with the most recent social problems, developments in science and the complexity of life itself. For three years undergraduates obtain 180 ECTS, and the job title of “State-recognized social pedagogue” and “State-recognized social pedagogue or social worker”. In order to receive such certificate, a 100-day integrated practice is required and the university has designed different, compatible with work, flexibly options for performing it. The practice phase gives a chance to reflect on the professional knowledge gained in the program.
