In a period of eight months, the content, equal to twelve academic credits, and leading to the title "Certified Strategic Modeler (CSM) ®", in the course “Strategic Corporate Planning and Financial Modelling” by the European Fernhochschule Hamburg builds a holistic approach to management techniques and decisions in business planning and financial operations. Analysis of balance sheets, income and cash flow statements, influence decision making and are the basics of the first stage of the course. Strategic goals and the measures to be taken for their fulfillment, the practical application of the business plans, are the centre of the second phase of the studies. Analysis and performance control, competitive analysis, portfolio analysis, problem and data analysis, profit and loss accounts planning, cash flow calculations, sensitivity and scenario reckoning, are the processes which will be considered.
