Description
The Euro-FH University of Applied Sciences gives a number of logistics-oriented further education courses, and the “Supply Chain Managenent” is one of them. It comprises eight credits and culminates in the university certificate issued by Euro-FH, structured throughout eight months and into eight study material books. Four submissions have to be completed for successful end, and the face-to-face exam could be a means for transferring the credits into a further degree study program at the university. The essence of the course is the broad expert knowledge necessary for successfully performing the various stages and processes in the supply chain management. These begin with basics - design, planning, goals, approaches, execution and standards, as well as supply chain event management. Then consideration on the area of outsourcing and contract logistics follow, to end in covering engineering, metrics and value control: SCOR – Supply Chain Operations Reference Model, ECR – Efficient Consumer Response, VMI – Vendor Managed Inventory, CPFR – Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment.
