The certificate course “The Supervisory Board – Qualification for Elected Officials” Qualification, offered at Euro-FH University of Applied Sciences, leads to the obtaining of a university certificate, which can be credited in posterior university studies. The program is six months long, and the submission of three completed academic tasks is expected. Chemical industry executives from all professional groups receive special conditions for this course, due to the participation of their professional association and trade union - VAA. The quality of the course is backed by its ZFU state approval.  Current and future members of the supervisory board of a company need not only personal skills and character, they also need professional expertise, especially in law and business, in order to be efficient and perform their responsibilities well. Thus, the curriculum focuses on the fundamentals in Stock Corporation Law, Accounting, Balance Sheet Analysis, Financing, Risk Management and Corporate Governance.
