The part-time study “Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistance” at the European University of Applied Sciences has a length of six semesters. The program aims to prepare students for the qualification as Physician assistants, and they support doctors in finding and creating diagnoses, treatment and documentation. Students study statistics, biochemistry, medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, hygiene and microbiology. To apply, candidates must have an Abitur or an advanced technical college entrance qualification. Graduates begin the activities of carrying out preparatory anamnesis, physical examinations and sonographies, implementation of treatment plans, informing and communicating with patients and other duties.
