The Tübingen University of Sacred Music (Evangelische Hochschule für Kirchenmusik Tübingen), founded in 1945, is a state-approved ecclesiastical school of music seated in Tübingen, Baden-Wuerttemberg. It is sponsored by the Evangelical Foundation (Evangelischer Stift), i.e. the theological education facility of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Wuerttemberg. More than 20 students currently receive an artistic education at the University. The Tübingen University of Sacred Music offers the Bachelor program “Church music B“ (B.Mus, profiles: Church Music with a General Profile, Church Music with a Popular Music Profile, Church Music with a Pedagogical Profile), the Master programs “Church Music A“ (M.Mus., Church Music with a General Profile), and “Church Music“, as well as the postgraduate studies “Organ“, “Organ Improvisation“, and “Choir Conducting“.
