The “Bachelor of Arts in Applied Sports Science, Specialisation Physiotherapy and Health Sports” program at College for Sport and Management Potsdam is a part-time course with practical phases, online study phases and attendance weeks. The major is carried out on a job-integrated basis that includes work in clinics, physiotherapy practices or other health sports-related facilities. Energy and metabolic systems, Psychoregulative Procedures, Basics of health research, Prevention and health promotion, Public health, Economics and law, Psychology, Pedagogy and Sociology, Digital media and communication and other subjects are part of the curriculum. Admission requirements include a general education entrance or an equivalent lower secondary or its equivalent and appropriate for the intended study completed training with acquired after at least two years of experience, as well as a state-recognized professional qualification as a physiotherapist and a valid employment contract.
