The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Management - Specialisation Sports Management” offered by College for Sport and Management Potsdam teaches students the fundamentals of management and professional competencies needed to manage and supervise non-profit and commercial sports and healthcare organizations. Therefore, the curriculum contains basic business and economic material, as well as legal and sports content, which are modified with an industry reference. Students will be prepared for difficult roles in the sports, leisure, and health industries. A special attention is given the integration of theory and practice. The course of study provides students with the knowledge and skill they need to deal with the duties and responsibilities in their future jobs position. They will learn about marketing, financial accounting, personnel management, sports law, etc. Graduates of the program are qualified to work in commercial sport facilities, sports venues, sporting goods manufactures, etc.
