The Fachhochschule für Verwaltung des Saarlandes, founded in 1980, is a school of public administration seated in Quierschied-Göttelborn, Saarland. In the Department of Law Enforcement, students receive a three-year education in senior police service at state level. The study program “Law Enforcement“ includes the subjects Police Science, Law, and Organization and Social Sciences. Both study programs are divided into theoretical and practical components and culminate in a Dipl.-Verww. (FH) degree. The study offer is complemented by seminars in the fields of General Advanced Education, Advanced Police Education, as well as European Administrative Management.
