The seven-semester degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Insurance Business” is provided by FHDW Hannover – University of Applied Sciences. The course imparts fundamental specialist knowledge of business administration and various general qualifications such as operational controlling, strategic controlling, market research and advertising psychology, human resource management, logistics, financial and investment management, personnel psychology and basics of the insurance industry, insurance knowledge using the example of property insurance, legal foundations, claims and benefits management. Participants obtain methodical competence to develop simple business plans based on analog or digital business models, learn the approaches of a systemic competence for the scientific evaluation of economic activities, including social and social and ethical aspects, as well as for the independent continuation of learning processes.
