The FHDW Paderborn, founded in 1993, is a state-recognized private university of applied sciences. It has locations in Paderborn (headquarters), Bielefeld, Bergisch-Gladbach, Mettmann, and Marburg. The University is sponsored by the Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft Nordrhein-Westfalen gGmbH (Paderborn). Some 2,100 students are provided with dual and extra-occupational study courses at Bachelor’s and Master’s level.
